Savernake parish

The parish of Savernake lies on the high ground south of Marlborough. The parish includes Savernake Forest and the large area of farmland between the A346 and the A345 roads. The most important building in the parish is Savernake Hospital. With the new houses behind the hospital, this area of Forest Hill has become the largest hamlet in the parish.
